A Pigeons Sex: How to Tell

Introduction

The following account summarizes what I have discovered over time with regards to birds and pigeons in particular. Its an informal guide towards determining the sex (male or female) of pigeons. Over the years, humans have had contracts with different species of animals for various reasons. In the past, dogs were mostly used for hunting other animals and in recent times as pets. Similarly, cats have also been used in controlling rodents around households. These animals accept these contracts for two essential reasons; food and shelter. Birds are mostly kept for consumption and in some parts of the worlds as pets. Pigeons happen to be amongst the few domesticated flying beauties. There is a problem with domestication which is: how do you determine their sexes?
